This Teen Poetry Festival is designed for those grades 6-12, but open to all. Writer, Teacher, Artist, Patrice Vecchione will kick off National Poetry Month on Saturday, April 1st with a free Teen Poetry Festival featuring a workshop, a reading, and Grand will be closed off for chalk drawing. Participants will be able to explore their creativity and a typewriter. Snacks and drinks and a copy of Patrice's book, My Shouting, Shattered, Whispering Voice: A Guide to Writing Poetry & Speaking Your Truth will be provided.
