Welcome to Pacific Grove Public Library Children’s and Youth Services! This is one of the most popular spots in town for young people and their families to spend time together, to enjoy the wonderful Children's Programs, to study, or simply to experience the pleasures of reading.


Storytime and Crafternoons are going Virtual!  The Pacific Grove Public Library is offering Virtual Storytimes and Crafternoons accessible 24/7.

Create crafts from home while watching the how-to Crafternoon videos.  Storytime videos will be posted daily, Monday through Friday, and Crafternoon videos will be posted every Wednesday while the residents of Pacific Grove are sheltering in place.

Game on! Looking for the next library contest, game, or challenge? You're in the right spot to showcase your skills and creativity. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in these competitions.

Pacific Grove Recreation and Libray Play it Safe Programs

Pacific Grove Library invites you to join the fun of crafting! Each week participants make a new craft. Pre-registration by family is required with craft kits available for all participating family members. Sessions are offered in person with supplies included or virtually with supplies available for pickup.

Kids’ collections include picture books, beginning readers, fiction for 2nd to 7th graders, non-fiction, a reference collection, magazines, audiobooks, and CDs in the Children’s Room as well as eBooks.
